Better eyesight for jibjib on Nokia 3110 classic

One problem I found while using jibjib Twitter client on my Nokia 3110 classic is that the default resolution of images captured by the built-in camera is 160px × 120px, which is very low.

At first, I though that capturing in higher resolutions was unsupported in Nokia-branded phone. However I talked with a Sony Ericsson phone owner¹ about this and he showed me that there were preset options to select higher resolutions. Unfortunately, there were no presets like those in my phone so I had to fill the desired option myself.

Since optimal resolution for displaying images in twitpic is 600px × 450px, I filled the following in Picture Options text input box in jibjib’s Setup menu:

encoding=image/jpeg&width=600&height=450

Saved the option and voilà! Now I can take photos and send them to twitpic with reasonable resolution. I’m a happy jibjib user again.
